Distilled in July 2009 and bottled in July 2026 at 52.4% ABV, producing just 204 bottles, this 17 year old Ardmore is a characterful Highland single malt combining gentle peat smoke with rich, wine-led fruit. Finished in a first fill Margaux barrique, the whisky brings together Ardmore’s distinctive smoky character with layers of cherry, cranberry, plum and dark chocolate, supported by peppery spice and a refined tannic structure. Complex, vibrant and beautifully balanced, it finishes with fading berry sweetness, glowing ember smoke and a soft, drying grip. Bottled straight from the cask with no colouring and no chill-filtration.

Nose: Clean smoke leads with red berries, raspberry compote, blackcurrant, heather and oak

Palate: Cherry, cranberry and plum meet gentle peat, tannic red wine, dark chocolate and pepper

Finish: Medium-long and drying, with fading berry sweetness, ember smoke and soft tannic grip
